DIGITAL FIELD OF PERSONAL SPACE

OBJECTIVE
The objective of the project was to design a multi-dimensional topology that is a visual representation of a network of forces, a digital field of personal space.

DESIGN DIAGRAM
The multi-dimensional topology was created by recording 15 elements related to my running exercises, such as running distance, duration, speed, etc. The outcome was 15 data points, every day for a total of 14 days. The points were connected to form 15 curves, which were then lofted to form a hillside. Deep valleys occurred on the days when I was inactive, and peaks formed on the days when I ran the longest distance. The sculptural quality of the resulting model reflects the physical action of running.
